The Raw Food Diet by late Dr.Ann Wigmore is a popular long standing far and wide,was born in Lithuania in 1909 and witness of the horrors of the First World War as a child.She one met with a serious accident that left her with a festered leg injury.Doctors recommended amputating her leg but she refused to do so.Instead,she turned to her maternal grandmother's method using wheat grass for treatment and was subsequently cured.Dr Wigmore's grandmother' was adept in natural therapy and medicinal herbs.In year later,Dr Wigmore suffered from arthritis,migraine headache and intestinal cancer due to weak body constitution.But this did not stop her from researching on curative effects of fresh wheat grass,vegetable,fruits and sprouts.She change her daily diet and consumed only raw food,which is turn reactivated her body functions and she miraculously regained her health back!

By having gone through this amazing experience,Dr.Wigmore promote the benefits of raw food diet with Hippocrates Health Institute in 1963 in Boston,USA.This method was very effective and many patients stricken with severe illnesses and cancer were treated and cured.It quickly spread a dozen health institution in San Diego,Michigan,Florida,as well as in countries such as Canada,Bahamas,Switzerland,Germany,Finland,Sweden,UK and Australia.Each year,several thousands of patients from all parts of world regained their health at these centres and created many miracles!

On the other hand,Living Diet Therapy has recently gained much popularity these day,but it is important to note that Living Diet Therapy is modified and involved from Raw Food Diet.
